I have been playing horn since 1969. In the last 15 years I have played mainly orchestral works, preferring the higher register, where I can put my 2 year old Paxman Triple through it's paces.

I have played principal horn in Symphony Hall Birmingham, my favourite symphony being Shostakovich 5. Having said that, I'm perfectly happy on 2nd horn also.

I have played in many shows (which I love to do) including Wizard of Oz, 42nd Street, Guys & Dolls, Crazy for you, Oliver!, West Side Story and the Schools edition of Les Mis (twice) amongst others.

I will travel a fair bit, recently I played in Theatre Clwyd, Mold in the Tip Top production of Wizard of Oz for example. That's a round trip of 100 miles each evening.
