I have a BMED with an emphasis in band from BYU-Idaho. I'm a stay-at-home mom now, but before I married and started having children, I was very committed to horn playing. While I've always officially pursued a teaching degree, my heart was in orchestral performance, so I put in the work to put myself on that path should the opportunity arise.
In addition to performing with various school-affiliated ensembles, I have also performed with Ickle-Bickle Woodwind Quintet (now disbanded), The Sundial Chamber Players, Teton New Music Ensemble, Y-I Brass (not officially affiliated with BYU-Idaho), Idaho State Civic Symphony, Idaho Falls Symphony (sub), and I currently play with the Symphony of the Canyons in Kanab. |
