I am a semi professional horn player and instructor who teaches in the public school system but is also a freelance orchestral player and private instructor. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in performance and a bachelor's degree in education. I currently play principal horn with the Oakville Symphony Orchestra and principal sub with the Niagara Symphony. I have played for many orchestras in Southern Ontario over the course of my 20 year career including the Oshawa Durham Symphony, Kingston Symphony, Royal Opera Canada, Brampton Lyric Opera, Kitchener Waterloo Symphony along with many others. I have also performed in many chamber groups over the course of my career, most recently with the Niagara/Oakville Horn Ensemble at the International Horn Day performance in February of 2010. I also have an active private teaching studio in Mississauga with many of my students going into horn performance programs at the university level.
